The Decision of the State Council on Revising and Repealing Certain Administrative Regulations is hereby promulgated and shall come into effect as of January 1, 2013.

Decision of the State Council on Revising and Repealing Certain Administrative Regulations

For the purpose of maintaining the unity of socialist legal system, comprehensively promoting the administration by law, the State Council has sorted out the applicable administrative regulations. Upon such sorting out, the State Council makes the following decisions:

I. Revise certain provisions of 5 administrative regulations
1. Paragraph 2 of Article 28 of the Administrative Provisions on the Registration of Enterprise Names is revised as: "Enterprises that fail to apply to administrative review within the prescribed time limit, or refuse to enforce the review decision upon the issuance of administrative review or fail to lodge a lawsuit, the competent registration authority may alter enterprises' name in a coercive manner and withhold the business license of the enterprises."
