State Intellectual Property Office, the finance departments (bureaus), development and reform commissions, price bureaus and intellectual property bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities specifically designated in the state plan, the Finance Bureau and Development and Reform Commission of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:
In order to implement the requirements of the Several Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Intellectual Property Powers under the New Situation (Guo Fa [2015] No. 71) issued by the State Council, better support the development of China's patent cause and relieve the burden of individuals and enterprises on patent application and maintenance, we hereby formulate the Measures for the Reduction of Patent Fees(see attachment) for implementation in accordance with the Implementing Rules for the Enforcement of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China (Order of the State Council No. 569).
Measures for the Reduction of Patent Fees
Article 1 In order to implement the requirements of the Several Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Intellectual Property Powers under the New Situation (Guo Fa [2015] No. 71) issued by the State Council, these Measures are hereby formulated according to the Implementing Rules for the Enforcement of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China.
Article 2 The patent applicants or holders may request to reduce the following patent fees:
