Administrative Measures for the Supervision of Auctions

The Administrative Measures for the Supervision of Auctions, which have been adopted at an executive meeting of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, are hereby promulgated and shall take effect as of November 1, 2017.

Administrative Measures for the Supervision of Auctions
(Promulgated by Order of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce No. 101 on January 15, 2001 and revised pursuant to Order of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce No. 59 released on January 5, 2013 for the first time and Order of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce No. 91 released on September 30, 2017 for the second time)
Article 1 The Measures have been formulated in accordance with the Auction Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations for the purpose of regulating auction behavior, maintaining auction order and protecting the lawful rights and interests of various parties engaging in auction activities.
Article 2 Auctioneers, clients, bidders and other parties participating in auction activities shall comply with the relevant laws, regulations, the Measures and the principles of openness, fairness, impartiality and good faith in auction activities.
Article 3 The administrations for industry and commerce shall supervise and manage the auction activities according to the Auction Law of the People's Republic of China, other laws and regulations as well as the Measures and the responsibilities mainly include:
