Efforts to have previous licenses replaced by the new-style Cosmetics Production License have been completed, according to uniform arrangements made by the China Food and Drug Administration. With a view to ensuring that the information of cosmetics manufacturers is consistent with that registered and filed for the record, relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.
I. For domestic cosmetics that have been approved for special use, if the site where these domestic cosmetics are manufactured remains unchanged but the serial number indicated on the newly issued Cosmetics Production License differs from that on the Hygiene Administrative License Approval Document for Cosmetics in hand, the applicant does not need to file a separate application for dealing with such difference, and, instead, only should apply for having such difference eliminated at the time it applies for renewing the said Approval Document or making other changes to the licensed items.
