The Decision of the Ministry of Finance on Revising Six Rules Including the Measures for the Registration of Certified Public Accountants, adopted upon deliberation at the ministerial office meeting of the Ministry of Finance, is hereby promulgated and shall enter into force as of January 1, 2018.

Decision of the Ministry of Finance on Revising Six Rules Including the Measures for the Registration of Certified Public Accountants
Amendments are introduced to six rules, including the Measures for the Registration of Certified Public Accountants, upon approval at the ministerial office meeting of the Ministry of Finance.
I. A new article is added after the original Article 22 of the Measures for the Registration of Certified Public Accountants as Article 23, and the original Article 23 and Article 24 are renumbered as Article 24 and Article 25. The new articles read: "for all provincial institutes of certified public accountants and their staff that commit any acts in violation of the provisions herein or other acts in breach of laws or discipline, such as abusing powers, neglecting duties or playing favoritism for personal gains, in the course of registration of certified public accountants, their liability shall be pursued according to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Certified Public Accountants, the Administrative Licensing Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Supervision, the Regulations on the Penalties and Sanctions for Illegal Financial Conduct and other provisions of the State; where they are suspected of committing any crimes, the cases shall be referred to judiciary organs."
