Administrations for industry and commerce and market supervision and management departments of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities specifically designated in the state plan and cities at sub-provincial level,

The State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) has decided to launch a special program to rectify internet advertisements in order to implement the deployments made at the national working conference on industry and commerce and market regulation and crack down on illegal acts related to internet advertisements. The matters relating thereto are hereby notified as follows:

I. Work Objectives
With the implementation of the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, guided by President Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and in compliance with the Advertising Law, the 13th Five-year Plan for Market Supervision and the Interim Administrative Measures for Internet Advertising, we shall strengthen the interim and ex-post regulation of internet advertisements, enhance orientation management, carry out strict regulatory law enforcement, and seriously investigate and punish false and unlawful internet advertisements in key fields concerning the personal and property safety of the masses, so as to effectively maintain the market order of the internet advertisements and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
