In order to further promote the implementation of the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement") and facilitate the customs clearance of compliant goods under the Agreement, the "Electronic Information Exchange System of the China-Pakistan Country of Origin" will be officially launched on April 30, 2018 (inclusive, the same below), through which electronic data regarding country of origin under the Agreement will be transmitted in real time. Relevant matters are announced as follows:
I. Where the consignee of imported goods or its agent (hereinafter referred to as "the Importer") applies for enjoying the tariff rates under the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement at the time of import, it shall, in accordance with relevant provisions of the Announcement of the General Administration of Customs [2016] No.51 (hereinafter referred to as "Announcement No.51"), fill out the Declaration for Imported Goods of the Customs of the People's Republic of China or the Filing Checklist for Goods Entering China of the Customs of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "the Import Declaration") under the Mode of None Declaration of Origin.
