In order to further alleviate the social burden, and promote the protection of patent creation, the State Intellectual Property Office, in accordance with the Circular of the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission on Policies concerning Suspending, Exempting and Adjusting Some Administrative and Institutional Fees, will suspend the collection of and adjust some patent charges as of August 1, 2018, which is hereby announced as follows:
