Decision of the State Council on Abolishing a Number of Administrative Approval Items

People's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, as well as the ministries and commissions of and the institutions directly under the State Council,
After research and argumentation, the State Council has decided to cancel 11 administrative approval and other items, which are hereby announced. There are another six administrative approval items set up according to the relevant laws, the State Council will request the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress to revise the relevant laws according to legal procedures. For administrative approval items that are cancelled, the relevant departments shall formulate and perfect detailed rules for in-process and ex post supervision, and announce such rules to the public in accordance with regulations within 20 working days from the date of promulgation of the Decision, and strengthen publicity and interpretation to ensure the implementation of the Decision.
