Decision of the State Council on Temporarily Adjusting Certain Provisions of Relevant Administrative Regulations within the Pudong New Area of Shanghai Municipality

People's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, all ministries and commissions of the State Council, and all institutions directly affiliated to the State Council,
According to the Official Reply of the State Council to the Work Plan for Further Promoting the Pilot Reform of "Separating Business Permits from Business Licenses" in Shanghai Municipality (Guo Han [2018] No.12), the State Council has decided that provisions of the following administrative regulations will be temporarily adjusted in Pudong New Area of Shanghai Municipality from the issue date of this Decision till December 31, 2018.
I. Provisions in respect of the issue of licenses for the allocation of large-sized medical equipment as set forth in the second paragraph of Article 34 of the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices, will be temporarily adjusted, accordingly, the licensing administration will not apply to the allocation of Class II large-sized medical equipment to private medical institutions within the pilot area, and in-process and ex-post regulation will be intensified in this regard.
