Market regulatory departments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government,
According to the Provisions of the State Administration for Market Regulation on Functional Allocation, Internal Institutions and Staffing, the State Administration for Market Regulation shall undertake the duty to organize and guide the censorship of advertisements for drugs, medical devices, dietary supplements, and foods for special medical purposes (the "Three Products and One Device"). In order to further improve the censorship of advertisements for the Three Products and One Device, the relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows:
I. Attaching Great Importance to the Censorship of Advertisements for the Three Products and One Device
The Three Products and One Device are special commodities and affect the life security and health of the masses. The CPC Central Committee and the State Council have always attached great importance to the Three Products and One Device. General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly made important instructions and required that the relevant regulatory work shall be carried out in the principle of "the most rigorous standards, the most stringent regulation, the most severe punishment, and the most serious accountability". To strictly censor advertisements for the Three Products and One Device is not only an important embodiment of the implementation of the work arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, but also an important basis for implementing the requirements of the State Administration for Market Regulation for deepening the reform of the business system and strengthening in-process and ex post regulation.
