In order to implement the decisions of the executive meeting of the State Council on December 24, 2018, it was decided upon deliberation at the second president's office meeting of the People's Bank of China on January 25, 2019 that:
I. The previous licensing mechanism for corporate bank accounts will be scrapped in batches nationwide as from February 25, 2019 and is expected to be completely abolished by the end of this year.
