Interbank foreign exchange market members,
In order to further develop the interbank FX market and meet the market foreign exchange risk management needs, the China Foreign Exchange Trade System (the "CFETS") will launch FX options trading on the new generation of foreign exchange trading platform called CFETS FX2017 on August 26, 2019. The details are as follows:
I. Market Participants
1. An institution with membership for FX derivative trading in the interbank foreign exchange market may file an application with the CFETS to open the quotation and trading access for FX options transactions, while an institution with membership for both FX derivative trading and RMB FX options trading may automatically gain the quotation and trading access for FX options transactions.
