According to the Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Working on a Pilot Basis on Exempting Certain Commodities from the Additional Tariffs on Imports from the United States (Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission [2019] No.2), the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council will examine effective applications filed by the relevant applicants and decide as per the applicable procedures for the first-time exemption of some US goods in two lists from the first round of additional tariffs imposed on US imports.
