According to the Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on the First Set of List of US Goods Excluded from the First Round of Additional Tariffs on US Goods, the first set of lists of US goods excluded from the first round of additional tariffs on US goods will expire on September 16, 2020. As decided by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council as per procedure, the period of exclusion for goods on the abovementioned lists from the additional tariffs will be extended. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
For goods specified on the list annexed to this Announcement, the period of exclusion as provided for in the Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission [2019] No.6 will be extended for a one-year period from September 17, 2020 to September 16, 2021, during which these goods will continue to be excluded from the additional tariffs on US goods imposed as China's countermeasures against the U.S. Section 301 measures.
