The Department of Finance and the Bureau of State Taxation of Yunnan Province:

With a view to facilitating the trial scheme of export tax rebate or exemption for export goods in small-sum and Renminbi-settlement-based border trade of Yunnan Province and upon approval by the State Council, as of October 1, 2004, the tax rebate rate for export goods in small-sum border trade of Yunnan Province that is settled in Renminbi via bank transfer shall be raised from the current figure of 70% to 100%; the tax rebate rate for export goods in small-sum border trade of Yunnan Province that is settled in cash in Renminbi shall remain 40%.
