Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission ("NDRC") has issued the Announcement [2017] No.16 to publish the Catalogue of Recommended Standards for the Logistics Sector Abolished under the Decision of the National Development and Reform Commission.
The Announcement states that the NDRC has arranged for relevant units to intensively review all recommended standards that have been released for the logistics sector, and, according to conclusions drawn from the review, decided to abolish seven existing recommended standards in the logistics sector as they no longer fit the needs of the logistics industry development. The repealed seven recommended standards are the Administrative Requirements for Warehousing Order-picking Equipment, the Administrative Requirements for Warehousing Labor Safety, the Fire-free/Explosion-free Requirements for Warehousing Areas and Storehouses, the Bar Code Symbols for Unit Loads and Transport Packages, the Logistics Quantitative Forecast, the Criteria of Evaluating Customer Satisfaction for Logistics Enterprises and the Requirements on the Transportation of Perishable Foodstuffs Refrigerated by Motor Vehicles.
