Provisions of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on the Standards of Acceptance of Investigation on Crime of Offering Bribes

Article 1 Crime of Offering Bribes by Individuals ( Article 389 and Article 390 of the Criminal Law)
Crime of offering bribes by individuals refers to acts of offering money or properties to public servants for the purpose of seeking illegitimate benefits.
In economic transactions, any one who gives money or properties to public servants at certain large amount in violation of the law, or gives rebates, commissions to public servants in violation of the law shall be investigated against the criminal liability of the crime of offering bribes.
The investigation shall be accepted in the even that anyone is suspected of any one of following situations:
