The Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Amending the Law of the People's Republic of China on Coal Industry, which was adopted at the 20th session of the Standing Committee of the Eleventh National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on April 22, 2011, is hereby promulgated and shall come into effect on July 1, 2011.

It was decided at the 20th session of the Standing Committee of the Eleventh National People's Congress to revise the Law of the People's Republic of China on Coal Industry as follows:
Article 44 shall be amended to read: "Coal mine enterprises shall pay premiums of the industrial injury insurance for employees to participate in such insurance as required by law.
