The Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on the Publication of Information on the Judicial Process on the Internet by People's Courts, adopted at the 1733th session of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on February 12, 2018, are hereby promulgated and shall come into force as of September 1, 2018.

For the purpose of implementing the principle of making trials open, guaranteeing the concerned parties' right to know in trial activities, standardizing people's courts' publication of information on judicial processes on the internet, promoting the judicial justice and enhancing the credibility of justice, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, the Civil Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, the Administrative Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, the State Compensation Law of the People's Republic of China and other applicable legal provisions, and in consideration of practices of people's courts.

Article 1 Information on processes for people's courts to try criminal, civil and administrative cases and cases involving state compensation, shall be made accessible on the internet to parties participating in lawsuits and their statutory agents, agents ad litem and defenders.
Information about processes under which people's courts try cases causing great social impact, may be made public through the internet or otherwise.

Article 2 People's courts shall publish information on judicial processes via the internet in a legal, standardized and timely manner for the convenience of the people.

Article 3 The China Judicial Process Information Online is a unified platform for people's courts to make public information on judicial processes.
